Join Tatra Photography in the highest mountains of the Italian Appennine Majella. This is a true Italian photography adventure where rugged cliffs and mountain meadows in full bloom surround a harmonious and ancient countryside.
We will photograph the spectacular Majella spring colours among the icons of this landscape. The spring flowers in full bloom of wild orchids and rare alpine species, which colour the mountain expanses to the highest altitudes. At dawn we will rise when the first light illuminates the highest peaks of this majestic mountain range overlooking the Adriatic Sea. We will also follow the flow of the Wild River Orfento through extensive beech woods in the valley related to an archaic landscape and visit the archaeological sites and monasteries that preserved the traces of long human history in these mountains. In the evening using different techniques on clear evenings we will try to portray the myriad stars that shine behind the mountains.
